When you zoom in on an image, can you save the zoomed image? If so, how? Thanks.

So would you guys recommend the Nikon D90 over the Canon 500D then? I've been mulling over it for months but think it may be worth splashing out the extra £100 on the D90

Hey, just got the D90 the other day, having fun so far.

One thing I need help with, when taking video, do I need to focus manually? I can't seem to get it to auto focus?

Help would be appreciated

Hey Penguin, It should auto focus for you! Hit live view then hold the button down halfway until the red box locks on green....then hit record. it's kind of touchy! Also remember to lock the exposure so it does not keep changing while you record...Have Fun.

I have a Canon flash (I think it is 420EZ). I used it successfully on my Canon Digital Rebel. I now have a Nikon D90. Will this flash work with this Nikon model?

Thanks everyone for any input.

I recently bought a D90 body, now I am stuck wondering how my 2 older Tamron lenses (non G) will work with the camera. What am I supposed to do when setting the aperture, by the body (menu) or by the lens (ring)?

Was having a great time with D90 the past few weeks and then it decided to fail on me at a crucial time, my daughter's graduation. During startup, the message f-- would appear and then each time I snap, Err appears. Turning off/on, reinserting SD Card no help. All this in Auto Mode. All the Nikon users at the graduation were trying to help but couldnt figure why. Any suggestion before I start taking it to the Service Center. Thanks.

Hello PC, That might be a lens connection problem...did you try removing the lens and putting it back on? I know this happened to me once and that was the fix. Hopefully someone else will chime in with a solution (suggestion).

@ PC - rotate the aperture selection ring (the ring closest to the camera on most lenses) to the highest number.

hi,i would like to grab nikon d90,but i just getting counfused with the kit,it's comes on two packages, which are 18-50mm n 50-200mm VR,and 18-200mm VR..
what do you think?
is it better to grab single lens or double lens?
thanks for ur suggest

Aldo, Mine came with the 18-55 & the 55-200mm vr also. I have sold both those lenses since and got the tamron 17-55 2.8 and the nikon 70-300vr. If you can get the 18-200mm vr with the camera I'd do that. or just get the camera and buy the lens you want...have fun!

How much will it cost me to have my built in flash repaired? It still pop out but does not release flash or light anymore? Will this problem affect my shots, I have a SB600 flash.
