Auto does not work in the video mode. That makes it something of a pain to focus AND stay on your subject. I simply use it for short clips and then refocus if I change the zoom or range. Perhaps I haven't figured it out but using the screen outside is useless. This device looks interesting. The other limitation that I've had is that there appears to be no autofocus with video.
