GGS D90 LCD Screen Protector |
It is rigid and made of optical glass material, which achieves more than 90% of transmittance (higher than plastic LCD screen protectors), thus making the LCD screen clear. Easy to Install: * No trimming required, fit directly on your LCD screen. * Just clean your LCD screen first, peel off the white back of the protector to stick, Done! * Easy to install and bubbles free, unlike plastic protector which always gives you bubbles between the protector and the screen. * No adhesive backing at the LCD screen, only at the border of the film for clearness. * Can be removed and reinstall, without leaving ugly residual on your LCD screen.

any information on where we can buy this?
this was the first accessory i bought for my d-90, mostly because the one that came with the camera was so ugly i was embarrassed to use it.
i've been very happy with them, they are quite clear so the color distortion on the rear display screen is minimal.
Excellent post. Thanks for the nice sharing.

I also bought this when I first got my camera and very happy with it. I can wipe clean my LCD without fear or permanently scratching the actuall LCD and to be honest the protector doesn't seem to mark anyway no matter what I use.
Better still when my camera swung off my shoulder and hit the car door the edge of the protector was the only thing to be damaged and chipped off. LCD itself still A OK! :D
Works like a charm here!
I tried the zagg and i'd really recommend it for you as well.. gives peace of mind - and hats the only thing you cant buy.

I was skeptical when I bought this but I shouldn't have been, its great!
My name is Azhari, I come from Indonesia, exactly in Aceh. I also use a Nikon D90 camera, lens Nikkor 18-55 and Sigma 70-300. I admire your blog content. Can I wanted to ask Facebook or Yahoo Messenger address you, thank you.
Saved my bacon this week - I smashed it, hitting it on a metal corner, and the screen underneath is fine!
Received the Generation III edition today. It comes with a black frame which replaces the BM-10 perfectly. AND it looks great on the camera. It also comes with a protector for both the eye piece and and the control panel. I installed the control panel protector but removed it. Didn't like the effect of looking through that extra layer of glass. The eye piece protector looks like it's going to interfere with putting the rubber surround back on. I highly recommend it over the BM-10!
Time goes on and we gain experience. Generation III is easily knocked off the camera comprised to the original stock big chunk of plastic. I'm seriously considering removing it permanently.
One of the most sensitive parts of a digital camera is its LCD screen or display. This is where you normally view the subjects you're about to capture and review the images you've just taken. Extra care is highly needed for this component to make sure it is free from scratches and abrasions.
